Hello and welcome to my virtual studio.
I am Nancy Hunt and love working with beautiful fabrics! Function, design and quality workmanship partner with fabulous, fairly traded batik cottons to produce each handcrafted product for my business, The Master’s Pieces.
Carefully selected fabrics are sewn together in interesting and unique ways. This may take the form of kitchen and home decor, fashion accessories, wall hangings or many other items. Many are one-of-a-kind and all are for your enjoyment and inspiration.
As a juried member of the Prince Edward Island Crafts Council, you can be confident that each individually handcrafted product meets a high quality standard.
My studio & shop are situated in the beautiful countryside of central Prince Edward Island on Canada’s east coast. My lifelong appreciation for nature has influenced my decision to live and work in this peaceful place. Here I am inspired to create the Canadian and Maritime themes which are strongly featured in my designs.
On Prince Edward Island you can visit my studio's shop during the summer months. Quilters and textile enthusiasts will enjoy a great selection of the batik fabric as "fat quarters" which are exclusively offered on PEI in a smoke and chemical free space. Also available is a selection of yard goods, finished batik products, and other handcrafted works including original watercolours.
